I was in need of a local staycation getaway and recently booked a Garden room at Hyatt Regency Newport Beach. The view from the room was soothing, out of one window was a fountain and the other lots of green. The first night, I enjoyed the best truffle fries that I have ever had with an ice cold beer, then went and enjoyed the Jacuzzi. After a peaceful nights sleep, my guest and I went back to SHOR which has an awesome patio. He ordered Salmon Benedict and I the regular Eggs Benedict and both was prepared to perfection. We marveled at the beautiful palm trees and it turns out a friend told me that they have more varieties of Palm Trees than any other hotel in California. If that isn't a reason for a getaway, I don't know what is. I can't wait to go back!!
